    Hi there,
    I'm new to BBSes and been wondering how many people are still using them. I'm too young to have used them in their prime, so I am happy theres still a community who maintains them.

    Well, let's see. There's you...there's me...so at least two. :)
    Naturally, there's no way to give any kind of accurate figure, but considering the number of BBSes still around, I'm sure you'll bump into somebody. Just peruse the msg. bases and that'll give you a good idea of who's out there.

    only a few users. probably a hundred sysops.
    asian country bbses are BOOMING. china and taiwan have very popular bbses. makes me want to learn their language. they are very active and always have been. i wish we could have that.

    Welcome to the world of BBS'ing, Suprisingly there are still quite a few of us Many of us are old timers, I personally helped start and ran my 1st BBS in 1987.



    ... It said "insert disk #3", but only two will fit...
